No, the story isnt a big deal despite what some would have you believe. DMC is primarily an action game so you can ignore the story and still have a good time, but if you pay attention you might 2. [deleted] • 5 yr. ago. Yes. It has a lot of flaws that could be forgivable if it wasn't for the fact that it commits one huge mistake: IT'S BOOOOORING. You don't need to waste your time on DMC2 and it'll kill all momentum that DMC1 created for you. Go straight to DMC3. Trust me, it's worth it. DMC 5's lock-on really needs improvement. Discussion. From what I've experimented with, there really isn't a consistency on which enemy takes priority to your lock on. I've tried multiple different ways to see what is consistent, and it mostly appears random. It doesn't prioritize over enemy proximity, where your camera is, your movement, the I would play them in order and skip DMC 2. IMO, it’s not a good game. It’s also not really relevant to the overall series plot. A good entry point to the series would be DMC3, because in essence it captures everything that’s good about DMC, the combat, the music, and Vergil. After than I would play DMC1, DMC4, and DMC5, in that order. 1 According to the developers information, you will need least Intel Core i5–4460 (or AMD FX-6300) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (or AMD Radeon R7 260X) and 8 GB of RAM to run the game on low settings. DMC 5 will require about 35 GB of storage and Capcom, developer of the game, strongly recommends playing it on gamepad. Guns are overpowered in DMC 2, and everything outside of guns is janky at best. The controls to pull off combos are weird, swords do really low damage compared to guns, and many enemies are just a pain to fight with swords (either swarming you, doing nothing, or powering through your blows to hit you) It’s easy. to understand the very beginning of the story you need to play the reboot DmC. it is telling you how all started. if you like the game or not. on its own it is a great game. but people like to hate it because it is so different from DMC4 (even tho DMC4 is only a half game - u play 40% forwards, then 40% backwards and then 20% boss fights you already did for THE THIRD TIME) the combat is nice Devil May Cry 5. Honestly, The Dodging doesn't feel good. Kira0987 4 years ago #1. After so many great action games have been made since DMC4 and even DmC, the combat to this game feels a bit dated. The fact that you can't dodge forward or backwards makes Nero feel absolutely sluggish. Also, having dodge tied to jump + left/right is terrible Hus3vb.
